Graduate English Language Requirements
- UIC provides the English Language Proficiency Assessment remotely as an alternative to the TOEFL or IELTS*.
- iBT Internet-based TOEFL* of 80, with sub-scores of: Reading 19, Listening 17, Speaking 20, and Writing 21;
- New Paper-Based TOEFL* (after August 2018) of 60, with sub-scores of: Reading 19, Listening 17, Writing 21;
- IELTS Academic* minimum overall score of 6.5, with 6.0 in each of the four sub-scores.
